Looking for a Private Lesson?

BCLC’s goal is to teach our students to communicate effectively and correctly in order to reach a high level of proficiency.  Our students include children ages three and older, young adults, and professionals.

Sometimes our clients prefer a little extra 1-on-1 time to build more confidence in speaking, or to have more individual time and privacy for practice. To accommodate, BCLC offers individualized and customized lesson plans where our clients can build their own learning curricula through private lessons. 

Families who want to learn together may also request private group lessons.

How do Private Lessons work?

-- Step 1:  Contact a Language Training Manager for an assessment.
-- Step 2:  Identify your learning needs and work with the Language Training Manager to build a customized curriculum.
-- Step 3:  The Language Training Manager will work with our experienced language instructors to custom build lesson plans for you.
-- Step 4:  Set-up class schedules and finalize payment plans.
-- Step 5:  Begin classes and receive periodic skills assessments.

Frequestly Asked Questions

Q: How much will Private Lessons cost me?
A: A minimum of 4 consecutive weekly (1-hour) classes are required for Private Lessons. The total cost will be $160 for all 4 classes.

Q: How do Private Lessons work?
A: A Language Training Manager will assess your language proficiency and learning needs to build a customized curriculum before working with our experienced language instructors to custom build lesson plans for you. We will work with you to schedule classes after payments are finalized. You will be given periodic skills assessments to track your progress.

Q: What will the teacher-to-student ratio be?
A: All private lessons have a 1:1 ratio. Small group lessons will be no larger than 1:4.

Q: Are there alternatives for how the classes are offered?
A: We always recommend in-person lessons at our office for better interaction and exchange, but we understand that you may have busy personal and professional schedules. This is why, alternatively, we offer virtual classes. Ask a Language Training Manager for more details.

Q: Are there any restrictions as to when I can take the classes?
A: We do our best to accommodate to your schedule. Our Language instructors are available between 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, seven days a week. Other schedules can be pre-arranged.
